Sara Groves Donates Money To Her Alma Mater

By |

New Artists of the Year nominee and INO recording artist Sara Groves recently performed a concert at her alma mater, Evangel University's Homecoming events. Showing support for the ongoing work of the school's music department, Groves donated all of the proceeds from her concert to the department's Piano Fund.

Groves has spent the fall touring in support of her critically acclaimed project, All Right Here, currently in the final stage of a mini- tour with Michael Card and Phil Keaggy.

Groves' debut single from "All Right Here," 'First Song That I Sing' provided the singer/songwriter her first #1 song at radio on the R&R and CRW Inspo Charts, while "First Song That I Sing" is a Top 10 AC Radio charting hit on both R&W and CRW. Sara has conducted nearly 100 radio interviews since the release of this single between AC, CHR and Inspo formats.

Groves will be taking time off for the holiday season with her family, and will hit the road in the spring of 2003, plans for which will be announced soon.
