Sarah Kelly Impresses MDs

Newcomer Sarah Kelly, signed on by Gotee records, receives all the rave as she promotes her debut release Take Me Away, which hit streets Feb. 24, through a radio promotional tour. Her visits have left more than a good first impression on MDs from Christian radio stations nationwide.

"Sarah Kelly was one of the easiest adds I've had. When you combine talent, passion, and a unique sound like this, you don't let it sit on your desk for long. Best first impression of 2003 is Take Me Away," said Aaron Dicer of Praise 101.7 WPRJ

Currently, Kelly's single “Take Me Away” is #15. It's easy to hear why "Take Me Away" is the most added single at CHR this week.

“'Take Me Away' is by far the best song I have heard in a long time. I can't imagine any programmer not adding this song. If a programmer doesn't add this song then they haven't really listened," says Lisa Davis of KOBC 90.7.

Rod of KADI presented an interesting method to attract radio phone calls.

“Instant Phone Recipe:One, take your radio station. Two, add 1 Sarah Kelly song 'Take Me Away'. Three, pop it on the air for 4 minutes and 55 seconds. Instant Phones!!!!!!"

“MDs are known for complaining (and often times moaning, groaning and even griping) about the lack of original, unique and compelling new music. HELLO! Here it is! Sarah Kelly is all that and more. Sarah is a career type artist with the chops and the songwriting prowess to be around for a long, long time. For the sake of all things unique... give her a spin and let your listeners decide.” – Greg Saunders / WQFL.
