Christian Legal Defense Reconsidered in School Board Case

More than 500 people in Tangipahoa, Louisiana on Tuesday urged its parish school board to reconsider hiring a Christian legal defense team in the school board’s case against the ACLU.

According to the Louisiana-based publication The Advocate, people spilled into the hallway and the crowd broke out into cheers and applause when the Tangipahoa Parish School board took a roll call vote on the issue.

Two weeks ago, the board voted not to allow the Alliance Defense Fund to help defend the board in regards to prayers at its meetings.
