TechnoratiA newly released site from one of Christian music’s top labels is allowing fans to download their favorite artists – including Relient K, John Reuben, and Family Force 5 – for free.
FreeGotee.com is offering free mp3s for any of the artists under the Gotee Records music label.
FreeGotee.com, offered by Christian label Gotee Records, allows any user to obtain free mp3s from any of the artists on their rosters as a way to give something to their devotees in addition to promoting the songs of their musicians.
“Whether you are here to discover new music or just here for the classics, we are glad you found us,” notes the website. “All you have to do is register with us and you are on your way to free music.”
On top of downloading music, the site also offers touring and news updates for all the Gotee artists on one website rather than having to look all over the web.
Among some of the more notable artists on the label are Relient K, John Reuben, Family Force 5, Storyside: B, Ayiesha Woods, and Paul Wright as well as former artists Sonicflood and Deepspace5.
Periodical emails will also be sent out to registered members announcing any recent or upcoming news for any of the Gotee artists.
The Gotee site explains that it should not be the fans’ only source to receive music from their musicians, however.
“If you find something you really like, please support that artist and buy the album or download it via iTunes,” Gotee Records expressed a news release. “The site makes it easy so just click to get it.”
The current president and co-founder of Gotee Records is one of Christian music’s most classic artists, Toby McKeehan, also known as tobyMac. He was one of the three core members of four time Grammy winning dc Talk, one of Christian music’s milestone bands.
tobyMac does not release his records under his own label, however, but continues to release them via ForeFront Records, the music label of dc Talk. His current album, Portable Sounds, has been doing well in the Christian music charts, especially with his recent hit single “Made to Love.”
