Christians have not taken comedian Kathy Griffins remark at the Emmy award show earlier this month lightly. Thousands of believers are signing a national petition to take a stand against the anti-Christian by-products of Hollywood.

As of Thursday morning, over 65,000 Christians have already added their signatures toward the million-signature goal of the Million Voices for Christ petition, launched last week by The Miracle Theater, a group of Christian entertainers in Tennessee.
The message of this petition is simple respect. Our primary objective is to give any person who wants to speak out in support of Christ, an outlet to do so, said Russ Hollingsworth, general manager of The Miracle Theater.
There is strength in numbers. One million people speaking up just cant be ignored.
The Christian theater group had placed a full page ad in USA Today on Sept. 17 directly addressing Griffins remark with the headline reading Enough is Enough! Stand Up for Christ.
We believe that every American has the right to worship freely and to speak freely, stated the group in a statement. We believe, however, that as Christians, we should not accept her mockery of our Lord quietly.
The ad called on the public to join the petition which states: The name of Jesus Christ should not be mocked, nor should those who love Him be slandered for their beliefs. It is time for people of faith around the country to stand firm against religious slander, bias, and bigotry of all types including Christianity.
Griffin had made the contested speech on Sept. 9 while receiving her Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program for her show "My Life on the D-List." After noting that many award winners give thanks to Jesus for their accomplishment, Griffen said no one had less to do with this award than Jesus.
Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now, she added.
Griffins remarks quickly drew criticism from the anti-defamation group Catholic League, which called on the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to denounce what they called vulgar in-your-face brand of hate speech.
It is sure bet that if Griffin had said, Suck it, Muhammad, there would have been a very different reaction from the crowd and from the media who covered this event. To say nothing of the Muslim reaction, commented Catholic League President Bill Donohue.
In the USA Today ad, Christian entertainers at The Miracle Theater stated that while they never win a national award or be seen in Hollywood, they considered it an honor to stand for Jesus.
Although others may choose to use their national platform to slander our God, we are honored as professional entertainers to stand for Christ, read the statement.
The Miracle Theater is home to The Miracle, a musical recreation of the life of Christ. The theater is located in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

BLASPHEMY (Arrogance, Deceit, Lying)
Why is blasphemy treated so seriously in the Bible?
BIBLE READING: Matthew 9:1-8
KEY BIBLE VERSE: At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, This fellow is blaspheming! (Matthew 9:3, niv)
Jesus was accused of blasphemy. Blaspheming is claiming to be God and applying his characteristics to yourself. The religious leaders rightly saw that Jesus was claiming to be God. What they did not understand was that he is God and thus has the authority to heal and to forgive sins.
Its easy to tell someone his sins are forgiven; its a lot more difficult to reverse a case of paralysis! Jesus backed up his words by healing the mans legs. Jesus action showed that his words were true; he had the power to forgive as well as to heal. Talk is cheap; our words lack meaning if our actions do not back them up. We can say we love God or others, but if we are not taking practical steps to demonstrate that love, our words are empty and meaningless. How well do your actions back up what you say?
BIBLE READING: Mark 3:20-30
KEY BIBLE VERSE: But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. (Mark 3:29, niv)
Blasphemy is a deadly sin. Christians sometimes wonder if they have committed this sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Christians need not worry about this sin because this sin is attributing to the devil the work of the Holy Spirit. It reveals a heart attitude of unbelief and unrepentance. Deliberate, ongoing rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit is blasphemy because it is rejecting God himself. The religious leaders accused Jesus of blasphemy, but ironically they were the guilty ones when they looked Jesus in the face and accused him of being possessed by Satan.
I am working on and let me know what you think and if you have any advice on to achieve this important goal.
I'm working on trying to eliminating blasphemy on the airwaves looking for suggestions on how to approach the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and the Canandian Regulators for Telecom and Radio Services (CRTC).
Need the help of some powerful voices. Please go to this link and watch the video any suggestions or help will be great.
Thanks so much for your time.

I ask you to take a few minutes and watch the video at the link above.
LETS ELIMINATE BLASPHEMY from the Airwaves.
or organize a one day boycott of tv, radio and theatre and send a message to the FCC and CRTC.
I cannot believe you folks don't get the joke: the joke is not on Jesus or Xianity, but on the fools who thank Jesus or God for their little awards for their lame TV shows, CDs and movies. Does God really cast the winning ballot for a Golden Globe, Grammy, Emmy or Oscar? Come on people, a little perspective.
this woman is obviously lost. if she will freely stand and say this then may everyones prayers be w/her because she needs help and guidance. she needs God in her life and she needs help
We all need to consider this is a lost person in need of Christ, who she denounces...because she IS lost. We all need to keep her in prayer. The same Christ that died for her sins and whom she rejects is who can also save her soul, and whom she will thank later.
Romans 8:28-39:
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us allhow will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who diedmore than that, who was raised to lifeis at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jude 1:8-10:
8In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings. 9But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" 10Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animalsthese are the very things that destroy them.
