America's Most Sinful Cities?

By R. Albert Mohler, Jr.|Christian Post Guest Columnist

In reality, the whole world is a Genesis 3 world - a fallen world inhabited by sinners. Sin is a universal problem and every single human being is a sinner. Put sinful humanity in close quarters, and sin inevitably multiplies.

If anything, the Forbes sin listings should remind Christians of the great challenge of evangelizing the cities - a task that demonstrates Christian failure to date. In that sense the Forbes list is haunting, humbling, and heart-breaking. Yet, in another sense, it may also be motivating. We can hope.

The best thing Forbes magazine has done so far is to recognize that sins are being committed and sins should be categorised as sins and should not be considered as tradition or legacy. Once, sins are recognized as crime, people would wonder whether sinful acys are destroying their lives.

Religion should come back to Americans and specially in the declared sinful cities. We would not hate sinners and would help eradicate sins. We may not achieve our target but expedition to eradicate sins from our lives shall be continual.
