Christian Band's Stolen Equipment Recovered Before Next Concert

By Josh Kimball|Christian Post Reporter

The trailer and thousands of dollars worth of equipment were stolen from a rising Christian band – just days before their next concert.

It was Thursday morning when one of the members of Rush of Fools noticed that their trailer was gone, and with it all the equipment - including guitars, amps, cases and even merchandise – that was inside, according to WSFA 12 News in Alabama, where the band is based.

On their Web site, the group looked to Romans 8:28 for answers.

"This verse is where we all live and breathe,” the band wrote. “We trust God in all things, even when we don't have the answers to why someone would do this. It's our prayer that whoever took the gear and trailer would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through our stuff. Yes, literally, our ‘stuff’ would be the catalyst to their introduction to Christ.”

While it’s not yet known whether the person, or people, behind the heist came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, it is certain that all things worked together for good, as the verse in Romans states.

After seeing coverage of the band's plight on WSFA 12 News Monday evening, someone called the Montgomery County Sheriff's office Secret Witness Line to say they knew where the shiny black cargo trailer was located.

When police arrived on the seen, the trailer was where the caller said it had been, and in it was many of the items belonging to the band.

According to Montgomery police spokesman Captain Huey Thornton, approximately 90 percent of the band's belongings was still inside when the trailer was recovered.

Thornton told WSFA 12 that an investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been arrested at this time.

Thankfully, the equipment was found before the band's next concert – set for July 14 – as they were praying for.

It is great to see God answer prayers. I pray also anyone involved will come to Christ.
