LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) - The Wilson County Fair will offer atheists a God & Country Day discount admission on Sunday.
Fair officials had been offering a church bulletin discount to Christian groups, but expanded it to others after a complaint.
Fair organizers told The Tennessean they resolved the issue by offering the $2 discount to anyone who presents a bulletin from any religious service or a printout from a religious or secular group's Web site.
Adult admission is usually $7 and $5 for children ages 6-12.
Thaddeus Schwartz of the Nashville atheist group Secular Life said his group believes the exclusive church bulletin discount illegally promoted Christianity.
Wilson County Promotions board member Cheryl Lewis denied the offer was discriminatory.
She said the annual event has received broad community support.
It was first held in 2002, in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

"Atheism is a religion!"
Non-religious people are religious. Bald is a hair color. Not collecting stamps is a hobby.
Interesting fact: The above comment appeared here before but it was deleted by somebody. What are you crazy Christians so afraid of?
Is this what passes for a noteworthy article now.....? Sheesh.
Atheism is a religion! Have at it....
