People......

I believe Michael is in heaven. There have been interviews where he had pronounced his faith in Christ (one with Geraldo Rivera, it is on youtube).

People, especially Christians seen to be so judgemental of him. Yes, he had eccentricities, and contravercy surrounded him. But if you believe he is in hell, then we are all doomed.

This man cared deeply about people. He had an injured soul. Do you really think that God is just going to toss someone in hell because they did not have proper spiriatual guidence? He was searching, reaching out, and I beleive God will embrace those who are broken in spirit. God is a god of love....LOVE! Please put all of your man-made religious laws aside and listen to your heart.

I cannot but admire his musical gifts. But went right off him when I saw an interview with a juror after his trial (something forbidden in the UK) in it the man said that the jury were convinced that he was a serial paedophile, but that he was not guilty of the specific offences that were subject of that trial.

Throughout the Arab states paedophilia is rife. There have been any number of exposes in the last 50 years. But still it is allowed to go unchecked. No wonder he went to the UAE.

As to his eternal destination well only the LORD knows that.
Fromall I hear he was another one who preferred to seek "spirituality" rather than Jesus Christ.

The bible is clear "NO ONE comes to the father but by me". There is no if, and, but or maybe!

I would hope that MJ got it before he went.But if not its clear where his final destination will be.

A lesson to us all to take a biblical reality check where WE stand with Christ.

Only God knows where Michael Jackson is...
If he repented of his sins and accepted Christ as his personal Savor, he is in heaven, but, if he died without Christ, I am sorry, but he is not in heaven.

If P Diddy and Britney Spears sang about Gods word, no one would even know who they are. As for Michael Jackson..He is the prime example of how a child molestor is able to operate still in todays times. These freaks dont have any special "pied piper" powers. People with blinders on simply enable them to do their work. Many people refused to believe this about someone that they like. I am african american and I am hard pressed to find any african who firmly feels that Michael jackson is a child molestor. It is a shame.

We can hope Michael trusted in Jesus before he died. That is the hope of every Christian for any person whose salvation is in doubt. It is the mercy of God that He will rescue a sinner on their deathbed. But did Michael have time? Was his repentance of a sincere love for God for saving a wretch like he was, as we all are, or was it from fear of the Hell he knew he deserved? Did he even have a moment to ponder his destiny?
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and it is the goodness of God that saves a man from his sins.
When you have the chance to see a soul saved share your faith in Jesus, you may never get another chance, lest they forever in Hell knowing you loved something more than to obey God.

Flagged as inappropriate. show you know, i was in norfolk va this weekend to see my brother who had returned from iraq, and we went to this event called harborfest for fireworks,food,fun, etc. there was this group of "christians" who had a stand set up. the whole time they were yelling at people telling them they were going to Hell and how bad they were and condemning all of them. before they met Jesus they were condemn too. and instead of condemning others, they didnt show their gratefulness for salvation, and the love of fellow man we should show. the bible says its the grace of God that calls people to repentance. i would like to know how many people were changed positively by their message of hate, i bet a big fat 0. none of us are holier than thou. everyone is still a sinner after being saved by christ. we all fall short. even when we dont even realize sometimes, even then we fall short. that is the biggest battle of all, good vs evil, and once the holy spirit comes in that battle becomes so apparent. sometimes we have victory, sometimes we dont. but in the end, its all about Jesus. theres victory only in him, paul said our righteousness is as filthy rags. wake up and try to love on people, its not easy, but condemnation will win no one in this age we live in hide

1. Disputes between believers--1Cor6:1-8

2.Serious sins of church members--Mt18:15-17,1Cor5:9-13

3.Doctrinal teaching of teachers and preachers--Mt7:15-20.1Cor14:29,1John4:1

4.Discerning if others are believers--2Cor6:14

5.Judging qualifications for elders and deacons--1Tim3:1-13,Titus1:5-9

6.discern which people are unruly,fainthearted,weak 1Thess5:14

All these apply to members of the body of Christ. We are to leave the unsaved to God. Scripture says "man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart". We cannot judge someones motivation for what they do but be can and should judge actions.

Your anger, and perhaps discontent, are noted.

The bible says that we will know a believer by their fruits. This means that we must have a sense of discretion as guided by the Holy Spirit.

As suggested in my earlier comments, it is no longer important as to whether we know that MJ accepted or did not accept Christ. He is gone now and our successes and/or failures in this regard are in the books.

But we can most certainly evaluate what he left behind and determine if we were just being entertained, or did Michael Jackson attempt to be any kind of witness towards Christ.

This would apply to any recording artist.

Flagged as inappropriate. show I am absolutely astonished and appalled at what I've read so far. As Christians, it is not our job to judge other people. Remember that the good book says to judge with the same measurement by which you hope to be judged. Yes, I agree that our prayers should be with him and his family at this time, but it is not any of our places to say anything about how much he loved his family and/or whether he's going to heaven or hell. Not a single one of us on this post have a heaven or hell to put anyone into. You don't know him, his relationship with God and/or the truth behind what the media portrayed. In fact, the first little boy that claimed Michael molested him came out this week saying that it was all a lie and his father set him up to it. Amazingly that didn't get nearly the amount of coverage as the negativity. Go Figure. How can we evangelize to anyone when we act "holier than though" and like our own stuff doesn't stink? Clearly we all need to have tolerance for others and their beliefs...that does not mean that we need to believe or accept what they believe as our own doctrine. You were given the choice to chose Christianity. How would you feel if someone bashed you for that decision? Give other's that same choice and respect. Our job is to plant the seed of Christianity.....and live what we preach....not teach of the love of God and turn around and act like ignorant bigots...particularly when we don't know the whole story. Rather than judge, let's just pray. I don't mean any disrepect, but if I were not a Christian and I visited this forum, I would be so turned off at the thought of following the same person these posters claim to follow....not saying that there is anything wrong with stating your feelings....but please remember that you are the only bible that some will ever read. Many of these messages were filled with spite and hatred. I just don't remember the bible saying "love thy neighbor....unless you don't like them" nor "thou shalt feel free to hate someone who did something you don't agree with." I pray that this message finds you well and that God continues to place his shield of protection around each and every one of you. The prayer that God will hear is the one for the souls of all who have been led astray under the mesmerizing power of Mr. Jackson's god. Pray for young people who have chosen Mr. Jackson's music and life style over Jesus and His lifestyle. Pray that the tragic ending of Mr' Jackson's life will demonstrate the frailty of this life, and drive home the importance of securing our relationship with the true King of our eternal life.

Michael was beyond help, he was a Jehovah witness, and as lost as they come. He was a child molester, and thought nothing of having boys in his bed, and a ruthless business man, if people around him did not brown nose him and yes him he just disowned them.
Yes God could and would have forgiven all of this.
But Michael was to lost for that. So hell bound he was and in hell he is, none of his power nor his money got him into heaven. And in the end he found out who reall was in charge, and had power and it was not him.
Many of these singers and movie stars are lost. they like a feel good religion.

If they did not lead MJ to Christ, my question is WHY NOT???!!! From the published reports it seemed that he was receptive. That was the ideal opportunity. Christians must be more proactive in witnessessing. I am. I have lead strangers to Christ in the aisle of Walmart - I'm serious. I only pray now that MJ was so moved by the meeting with the Crouche's that he accepted Christ in his private moments. This should remind us all to step up and witness with boldness. It may be someone's last chance at salvation.

Jackson had three designer children to satisfy his own ego. Prince Michael II, wow. None of the children are his biological offspring, but Michael could not adopt given his well reported activities with children. But I do not see where any leaders of the African American churches confronted Jackson. Recently Jackson hid out among the fabulously wealthy Arabs of the UAE. Jackson did many shows for charity that were well reported. It will be interesting to see how much of his estate really goes to the children he claimed to love. I am personally tired of hearing how loving Michael Jackson was.

I hope what the Crouches did was plant a tiny seed. It truly is odd that our celebraties must, in an effort to entertain the masses, become "weirder, wilder and more erratic in behavior." But the Gospel is a simple proclamation of forgiveness in Christ. It can be presented in less time than a MJ concert. The message of grace will not be blaringly loud, but the peace it offers is serene.
Truly the King of Pop will meet the King of Kings. I pray for a "thief on the cross" experience.

One can only imagine how better the world would be if our Christian leaders were to evangelize the famous as much as they do the common public. If Britney Spears and Sean P Diddy Combs sang about the joy of virginity until marriage, our STD's, abortion rates and fatherless homes would be VASTLY different. But alas, it seems being "tolerant" of others is more important than evangelizing the lost, which includes many famous people.
