Homeschool or private schools!! Remove your children from these schools. When the money is taken away from them by the decrease in students...they will begin to listen. Money is the God of this world.

Matthew 18:9 "If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell.

If the schools 'education' may cause your children to stumble...cast it out!! Get away from it. You may think you will not be able to give them the best education at home but you will be surprised. Research homeschooling...there are so many different avenues you can take...there is pretty much anything for any type situation you may have; both parents working, single parenting, tight budgets...and there is also a huge amount of support from other homeschoolers.

To win this cultural war, you Personally, must find ways to place yourself in positions where you can advocate pro-family values. For me personally, I am involved with the Local Liberal Human Rights Commission(this is difficult). But if more Christians apply to be on this commission, it would be different. But the fact is, many Christians have a "this is wrong, Someone should do something" rather than a "this is wrong, I'll do something about it" attitude. Quite Frustrating.

Run for office, apply for volunteer commissions/committees in your cities. Get involved with your schools, become judges, lawers etc. Do Something.

Parents these day have to raise their children with "help" from the government and with the media. I guess that's why there's the homeschooling movement.

Fire them...Fire them all! The parents ought join forces and number the school board members who are for this new Pro-Gay Sex-Ed Curriculum get them voted out strategically. And replace them with proven and known advocates of the family. Our children are worth fighting for. All christians must realize that we are in the middle of a cultural war. Socialism and the forced indoctrination of secular humanism has invaded our public schools and is being pushed on our children. I for one am not going to stand idolly by and watch another generation become trained to be prey for academic pedofiles.

Appearently the parents are in denial. It is clear that the State Board is winning.
The numbers tell the truth.

The parents have not demonstrated to the State that they should be taken seriously. How does a State Board member get elected? Do the parents have any say in that? Do the parents care?

We have seen the slippery slope syndrome take hold in this country. It is frustrating and exasperating to see that parents are losing more and more say in how their children are taught in the public school. The homosexual agenda is like a lion with a voracious appetite devouring every thing in its path. We must continue to stand up for holiness and purity and do all we can to cage this lion.

I agree with Mikey. That is such an absurd statement. But I think most State Board's have that mindset, that they have more rights to my children that I do.
