Well, aside from the fact that God doesn't exist, my point still stands. You can sugar coat it all you want, but it is ones belief in religion that has caused so much death and destruction. Personally, I think anyone who can disspell logic and common sense from their brain so that they can believe in God si probably mentally insane.
I am sure many do not see the problem with persecuting Christians. Naturally, all men have a hostility toward God (and toward Christians) because they intuitively know that God's holy judgment is a terrible threat against them. Nevertheless, it simply is not true that more people have died in the name of God than in all the wars and murders throughout the world combined. The truth is that more people were killed in the 20th Century by war and murder than in the other centuries combined, but it was not belief in God which did the killing; it was, in fact, specific unbelief which caused these deaths. So, in China, there were as many as 56 million Chinese killed or starved to death in the communist [atheist] takeover. In Russia, there were 16 million killed in the name of godless socialism. In Cambodia, there were about three million. Whatever the problem one might have with God or with Christianity in particular, he must realize the deadlier option is godlessness. Apart from Christ, all men are swift to shed blood.
Well, I don't see the problem here. The man broke the law, now he should pay the price. I personally wish we would adapt a similar system here in America. I have no problem with people practicing religion, but if you aren't satisfied in keeping your beliefs to yourself, than you deserve whatever is coming to you. Why so many religious nuts feel the need to spread their insane beliefs to the others is beyond me.
Religion is nothing more than a breeding ground for terrorism. More people have died in the name of God & religion than all the wars and murders throughout the world combined. All and all, I say execute the man and let it be an example to others. The only thing upsetting about this is that it's not a practice we follow here int he US.
