There are some good points to what I just read in this summary of the event. Ratain the good & dispose of the bad. It left me a bit concern though. For some reason, the more I hear about reformation, I also hear less of Jesus. I've noticed how leaders want to bring a revival through men's work and purpose instead of Jesus. I think leaders are re-inventing the gospel and Jesus to please my generation and the next in such a way that Jesus has become like a doll we can dress up however we want to convey our own idea of who God is. Now, we're dressing Jesus as an entreprenuer, money-making Jesus, Jesus the Teen. It's like the movie "Telladega Nights"...some people just like Baby Jesus! It does bring lots of doubts about churches in general. Are they changing the gospel to reach us or are they changing the gospel to fill their churches and make money? I fear that the generations at hand are becoming more like the ones that presented many deeds before Jesus and Jesus said "I don't know you!" I don't want a plastic, convenient, gospel handed down to my generation. I don't want a fake, non-transparent, gospel passed down to us. Teach us the word as it is written.

Yet another premiere leadership event, featuring some of the most sought-after speakers.
"The first Reformation was about creeds. The second one will be about deeds." - rhymes well but not entirely true. the first reformation was also about deeds based on creeds. faith that doesnt result in good works is dead.
