Akinola is a power-hungry idolator who is far more interested in geopolitics than in the bible, unfortunately. He's certainly not someone christians should look to for christ-like leadership.
How refreshing it is to hear the clear voice of Biblical leadership in troubled times, when apostate leaders are hurting the faithful like wolves devouring a flock of sheep. In Acts 20:29 the apostle tells the Ephesian Christians: "I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock"
I pray for Bishop Akinola and all faithful leaders of God's people all over the world! May God raise men and women of faith and courage to lift the standard of his gospel!
