Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said it is "practically impossible" to expect a clearer response from the American church which had earlier agreed to halt the ordination of openly gay bishops.
A half-hearted, double-minded, man-pleasing, apostate "church" will never give glory to God. It's actually good that this has come out in the open. I pray American Anglicans will go with God, with the truth of His Word, and not be intimidated by those who only give Him lip service.

looks like they have reached the end of the road and are now faced with making a decision. they have skirted this issue for a long while and it has come back to bite them. this is what happens when error isnt confronted and allowed to fester. also looks like the archbishop hasnt the courage to handle this and rather is still asking for dialogue. unbelievable. dialogue for what? compromise? better to take a stand for the faith than to stand with a communion that has apostatized.

After years of fuddy-duddyism and mind numbing verbosity, the Anglican church has finally achieved the astonishing ability to fail to communicate with anybody at all, including itself. I have just read, then re-read this article and I'm still not sure what on earth they are trying to do.
Given that Jesus last commandment was to communicate the gospel, I wonder if the Anglicans have finally and permanently lost all ability to do this. The only hope is that someone gets very angry, ditches the claptrap and gets on with the job.
Any takers, Anglicans? You have a strong and proud history. Do it again!
