Following threats made to pastors in Iowa that sermons on political issues would lead to prison, a Christian legal group has renewed its assurance that pastors have the legal right to speak out on moral and political topics during the 2008 primaries without jeopardizing their churches tax-exempt status.

Ron Paul does not support The Human Life Amendment nor the Federal Marriage Amendment.
Mike Huckabee does.
Support the only REAL Christian conservative candidate running for President; Dr. Ron Paul. There is Hope For America, but the time is short.
Huckabee is broke, and is desperately starting to flip flop on his positions, why don't you see how much money he gave to planned parenthood for abortions when he was Govenor of Arkansas, Grow up! & Wake up!!! www.saveamericanow.com spread the Truth!!!!!
Defend the right to life, Support Dr. Ron Paul now!

Aren't you sick of politicians using this as a political football while babies die?! I'm tired of hearing how "conservative" and "prolife" they are UNTIL they take the office! Check Rep. Paul's 10-term record - he is an honest man.

When Christians address any issue, shouldn't the Word of God be our standard for our beliefs? When presidential candidates let it be known they are not concerned about upholding basic human rights for our nascent children, can we as Christians in good conscience vote for them? Should Christians support a candidate who deliberately takes a stand against what God's Word says is right and good? Why is it that it is so hard to find candidates in either party who are willing to take that stand? I truly believe we are putting the cart before the horse when we focus on the economy while ignoring moral issues. It is a grave mistake to put money ahead of the Lord. The love of money is the root of all evil.
Huckabee Wins Nomination and Presidency!!!

Everything is a moral decision. How we run our government has as much moral basis as anything else, because all things are based on our beliefs of "right and wrong". If you think it is "right" to carry the death penalty- then that is your moral view- and you should support that view in politics.
To believe that morality is seperate from any aspect of life is very ignorant- or just plain stupid. I recenelty spoke with a lawyer who had moved and needed to retake the ethics exam. On the exam they said it was "okay" for a man to commit adultery with a woman who was not his wife as long as she was not his client first! And they said his adultery had no basis on his claim for a higher ethical standard! Idiots!
God (the Bible) speaks to EVERYTHING in life, including who to vote for. It is impossible to seperate religion and politics. Every choice you make is based on what you BELIEVE to beright or wrong, thereby showing us who or what you believe to be the ultimate arbiter of truth 9aka, your god).
kaishinden79-- and poverty, health care, greed, hate crimes against immigrants, human trafficking, refusal to care for injured troops, economic slavery, deficit spending, lying, defacing education for political gain...
Does anyone have a link to the letter referenced in this article that was sent to pastors in October? I would value being able to read it.
Thanks.
moral topics? what about abuse of power, corruption, love of money & union of church & state for political advancement.
