Preachers who are preaching hatred and using their influence in politics must be watched
with much caution.
They should be denounced; God brought into light what needed to be known about Obama and his pastor. His pastor claimed to represent God. God is not a silent partner who is unaware as to what is being claimed in His name. God will defend His name; Love God's Name.
Jesus tells us to beware the leaven of the Pharisee. The Pharisee were the ones shouting for Christ to be killed until the whole crowd join. A little leaven leaven the whole batch.
Obama lives his life according to the preaching and word of his pastor who is his sheppard.
We all look to our pastors to hear God's word; But when they preach a gospel other that what we have read in the Bible to be true; We are not suppose to listen.

"Stupid comments, Obama?" You, who have attended Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years and who has donated thousands of dollars to his ministry...is it safe to assume that you have agreed with his ministry and "stupid comments?" You who have not distanced yourself from him and you, who have sit under his mentorship and teaching? What do you believe, Obama?? Do you agree with Wright???

Tell us true, Obama. Put up or shut up!!!!

Not only does Barak Hussein Obama not agree with his pastor on criticial issues, he says he does not believe Jesus is the only name by which people find and receive forgiveness and salvation. Acts 4:12 says "there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." If Obama knows Christ personally and is truly a Christian he would not disagree with the Book of Acts and other testaments of Jesus in the Bible.

God Bless our mess - at least that we have been saying for over 230 years, right? Every generation has failed the test. The best and brightest have been born "free and brave" for almost 300 years and we have not the courage to believe God fully!

I am not ashamed of being Black. I am not ashamed of my Faith. I am not ashamed to serve my country via the military (presently) and I will never be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!

Now, what really needs to happen is that we must Push Satan and his imps back to the gates of hell and finally EUTHANIZE HATRED - which has been on life support for far too long! Every generation serves the demons of their fathers (Via known sin) and we are no better. If the Democratic Party will ever have a fighting chance (to win the White House), UNITY IS THE WORD OF THE DAY. If America is to live out her truest self, we must die to self, and take up our crosses and follow Jesus with our whole heart - for a change. Here is my list of 5 suggestions:

1. Bring prayer back to our society, schools, colleges, and dinner table.
2. Sacred and Public (unsegregated) devotion must be had by all Americans - In Jesus' Name ONLY!
3. Confession of our sins before God (Believing that He hears us) will please Him and bring lasting healing.
4. Fathers, take responsibility for your children and all children that you love!
5. Mothers, if you don't need to work, stay home and pray for your husbands (who should be working) and deny this wicked and adulterous generation and the money that has ruined so many families - money is a tool not our fuel, Amen?

Lastly, I know I've been silent for a time but, whosoever becomes president next year, we'd better pray for them and our pastors who only desire to tell the truth - which sets us all free!

I worship God, the Maker of heaven and earth, may the many become truly one and preach the gospel to the entire world so that we can wrap this thing (age) up and meet Jesus; Face to humble face (ours).

Glory to God in the highest, and good will towards all (men, women, and children) - all over the earth (which God so very loves). Amen.

I wouldn't necessarily agree that "God damn America" would be the choicest words, but no matter how much nationalism is shown, America is going down the drains. Ever since we began imperilization over in Africa by forcebully removing Africans we have been a country of non-step racial and class division. And what do we do about it? We lie, cover it up. People thought the Civil Rights Movement fixed our race issue, but it hardly accomplished anything. From the start African Americans were economically at a disadvantage and were destined to live in the "ghetto" due to their white superiors always exceeding them. They have been in the minority class ever since they first stepped on American land and we've done nothing about it (and the pigs are only making it worse).

So even though that preacher did make this point extreme, by stating "God damn America" for its treatment of minorities, he had a point.

was attending for a very long time, but making a scapegoat out of him for the sins of his
Pastor is a ruthless political game. The greatest problem that humanity face is the reactivation
of the dirty and bitter past.

If my pastor made repeated hateful, racist, anti-Semitic public statements and did not repent of them, and if I remained under his spiritual leadership, then you would have every right to make the judgment that I am as guilty as my pastor.

This is just another example of pulpit trash belly preachers Romans 16:17-18. The familiar"poor me baby" jag is old and tired. This preacher is a diagrace and an abomination to this great country. Our Bible tells us that judgement begins at the pulpit. Jesus told us many times to not be deceived. Trust your Bible dear friends. These days are evil. Always be ready in and out or season...

Do Christians not read the Jewish prophets anymore? The Bible damns Israel over and over again, and right-wing preachers have damned America for decades now, but its a huge honkin' deal when a left-wing minister does it? All this outrage is either ignorant or phony, I can't tell at this point.

As followers of Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit, true Christians say and pray “God Bless America,” and many are now saying and praying “God Please Help the US.” However, the Holy Spirit of God would never inspire a true follower of Jesus Christ to say or pray “God Damn American” in any context, much less as part of a taped public sermon.

Holy Scriptures say to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Reverend Wright obviously has a fiery spirit that is condemning at times, particuarly when he curses our nation in public sermons. It's certaintly not Christ-like or characteristic of the Holy Spirit.

Most of his life, Senator Obama has trusted and tollerated this particular pastor. Although Reverend Wright is retiring, he will remain as Senior Pastor, and his replacement essentially agrees with him in spirit and truth. Senator Obama must agree with them in spirit, if not in truth.

There is reason to not trust the spirit in which Reverend Wright made such remarks, and so there is reason as well to question the spirit leading the youthfull Obama Hussein Barack as a professed Christian and prospective president of our nation. May God’s Holy Spirit be our guide. May God have mercy on those who preach "God Damn America" in any context; especially with a fiery, condemning spirit in a taped public sermon especially where children are involved.

Mr Obama,

You are campaigning to be President of the United States. Everything you do, say, think, or are involved in is critically important in your decision making and effects the lives of 250 million people. Yes this kind of thing should be scrutinized carefully! A common ordinary citzen is not responsible for so many lives and deserves their right to privacy. You have chosen to be a public figure, therefore we should know what your motives are. If this is too much for you, you are free to step out of the campaign!
