"a communist nation which represses its citizens and denies freedom to its people" We Chinese people are extremely happy and pround about our government and what it's done to make our lives 10% better each year. We also think we have enough freedom than we need. Solve the problems in your own country where half of the citizens are mad with the government, before you start to tell other countries how YOU THINK they should manage themselves only to find that you are wrong because you know nothing about them.

-Boycotts are for looser. The president should attend the opening on Aug 8th and then also attend all unregistered house churches, visiting the arrested unregistered Christian house churches leaders and jailed illegal Christian literatures publishers and most importantly attend the illegal bible studies. -All in the formal decorum and Chinese Communist Party silent protest. Let the militant atheists squirm and find a way to block that from world headlines

Why in the world would the United States President go and give credance to the butchers of Beijing? What short memories we have. The massacre of innocent students at Tieneneman Square, the barbaric treatment of political prisoners, the violence against peaceful monks in Tibet, the brutal treatment of Christian house pastors, all of it swept under the rug by our "good" Republican President. I am ashamed of him and the US acceptance of a communist nation which represses its citizens and denies freedom to its people.
