it would be interesting to put vouchers for $1000 dollars into all the bibles sold and wait to see how many were turned in. i would be willing to bet that very few. the bible is the most sold, least read book in the world. better to read will durant's history of philosophy than the bible.
I'm glad the Bible is number 1 - most of the rest of that list doesn't surprise me but Angels and Demons as the #8 book of all time? They've got to be kidding.
#1 The Bible - Amen!
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it - Isaiah 55:11.
I find it interesting that along with the #1 Bible, #5 "The Stand is a story about the end times, God, prophets, the remnant and the anti-Christ. #6 "The Da Vinci Code" is about an alternate view of Christ and Christianity and #8 "Angels and Demons" is a Church themed novel.
