As an anglican, I wish that once and for all they would, get this settled, so we can move on with the work of the church.

Thank you FullGospel, akondo, chk555, boomershank and Steen. I gave you all a thumbs up. The problem with Archbishop Williams is that he thinks it is sinful to point out sin. So the Lambeth Conference should help bishops becoming "better bishops" by ignoring the rot in the Anglican communion. What pathetic, ignominious and self-chosen blindness!

Come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her plagues. We should pray that God's people come out of Babylon. She is fallen, fallen

The first order of business of this conference should be to excommunicate the episcopal church for their apostasy.

Why pray when you don't believe in God? You don't think for one second that any of these liberals who run the Anglican/Episcopal Church really believe that the God of Bible exits! If they did, then the good Archbishop's Church would not be in the Apostate mess that it's in now!

suffer? in what way is the anglican church suffering? it isnt something the world has inflicted on them but rather they brought it upon themselves by departing from scripture. just sitting there "praying" while the church rots because they want to avoid dealing with contentious issues isnt going to solve anything. we need to pray that God would open their eyes and gives them a repentant heart. this call to prayer, seems to me, the Archbishops idea of avoiding the issues that are destroying the Anglican church. and the longer he waffles the worse it is going to get.

I think ALL within the body of Christ ought to be praying for our Anglican brothers and sisters in Christ. When one member of the body suffers, we all suffer.
