Moreover your self-righteous tone is very similar to those 150 years ago defending the firmly established Biblical concept of slavery, with it's long standing tradition in the Church, and among the leading civilizations of the worlds, who went out of their way to condemn those God-forsaken Abolitionists.

St John there is abig difference in judgmentalism and discernment, and according to the Bible which the Episcopal Church is forsaking I detect apostasy from the leadership on down in this church. No matter how you condone homosexualism I for one will not and flee from those that would advocate such a position in the chuch. The chuch should be pursuing holiness which homosexuals and their perverted life style can not and will not be tolerated in the church. The judge in VA simply said that a 1868 VA law designed to protect the Southern Baptists from losing their property to the northern Baptists could be applied here, so the the two sides will now go to court and see if the terms of the law are met. In 1868 90% of the VA Baptist churches had supported slavery and separated from their northern counterparts. In 2008, less than 8% of the Diocese of VA wants to separate. We'll see if they can take the property with them, but more importantly 140 after the law was enacted, most Christians are embarrassed and ashamed at the VA Baptist churches Scriptural defense of slavery. I wonder if in another 140 years we will feel the same about the Scriptural defense against homosexuality.
