Delegates representing the 11.5-million member United Methodist Church (UMC) closed on Friday a 10-day meeting that was relatively calm despite contentious issues.

I wholeheartedly agree, it is only a problem for those who have "itchy ears" to bend scripture to suit themselves, pray for the veil of deceipt to lift from their eyes and for them to repent of their sin's IN JESUS NAME

I don't understand what there is to debate about with homosexuality:

1) Romans clearly says it's wrong
2) The Bible ALWAYS declares marriage between a man and a woman
3) Sexual impurity outside of marriage has been iterated as wrong hundreds of times in the Bible

Doesn't seem like much of a problem to me.
