Well isn't that what pastors & tele evangelist preach especially Malachi? they say that give your 10% & god will bless you or obey the word of god & he will bless you. but what the pastors have forgotten is if you do not work you do not eat. their mentality is do not rely on your own strength just give your tithe & god will take care of everything. isn't that the equation pastors tell you obey=blessings; disobey=curse.
there is nothing wrong with being prosperous. the book of proverbs have plenty of verses describing the rich & the poor. poverty is a curse & prosperity has its own blessings. that is why there are pastors who are rich & do not decide to be poor.
by the way, they (pastors / televangelist) are the messengers of god, so don't tell me that I am judging them. why don't they practice what they preach especially 'denying' the self.
