Unlocking the Mystery Behind CPA Fees
Unlocking the Mystery Behind CPA Fees
A typical small business fees annually to do your corporate and personal income tax return, tax planning, miscellaneous questions throughout the year, and help get your year-end data ready to prepare your corporate return would be approximately $1300.
One of the biggest issue facing business owners is the handling of all of the payroll tax issues, reports, payments and reporting deadlines. To that end I recommend that all business owners use a payroll service as they can handle all of your payroll needs better than a bookkeeper, accountant or CPA.
Having adequate liability and property insurance is also a key issue for business owners to address ASAP after they get their business started as having the right insurance can be critical. Though the "corporate veil" if you respect it and treat it as required will do much to protect you personally from regular tort liability, having adequate insurance coverage, deductibles, limits and co-insurance will help to make sure you liability/insurance issues do not derail your otherwise well-run business. Having a good insurance agent is critical to ensuring that tort liability issues do not stop or bankrupt your business dreams.
Though we have client fees ranging from the hundreds to the tens of thousands, a CPA should be able to give, as with all of your vendors, a predictable and determined range of what your annual fees should be. Dealing in good faith with all of our vendors is critical as a Body of Believers so that we may well represent Jesus Christ in the marketplace. The Bible commands that our scales and measures should be just and valid and it is not only appropriate but fair to make a reasonable and market profit on all goods and services rendered.
