Faith Like a Child?
Imagine interviewing more than a dozen 3rd to 6th graders. I did. The results were a bit surprising. Each child sat on a "hot seat" and answered five questions. The first four answers were easy: name, grade, number of siblings, and how many years they've gone to church. The fifth and final answer was a little tougher: talk about when it's hard for you to trust God. I was amazed at t...
Stopping America's Greatest Epidemic
"My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered away from God's truth, don't write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God" (James 5:19-20, Message).

So he gives us another action-filled, emotive word picture: "I have finished the race." That's also good. But what is Paul getting at?
Losing Everything
Have you ever lost someone near or dear to you?
I lost someone when I was eleven. My dad and mom and brother and two sisters and I were near Snoqualmie Pass, about fifty miles east of Seattle.
