Unashamedly controversy-prone Pastor Mark Driscoll of Seattle-based Mars Hill Church recently sat down with some Seahawks players and a coach as they get ready for their first game in this year's NFL playoffs on Saturday.

"Recently, some of the Seahawks players and a coach were kind enough to sit down and talk with me about their faith in Jesus Christ and how it intersects with life on and off the football field," Driscoll wrote in his blog posted Friday.

The blog post along with a video clip of Driscoll's interview with QB sensation Russell Wilson was released on Friday.

"When I step out on that field in front of 80,000 people I truly believe that God has put me on the field for a reason ... through my play I hope that I can change people's lives," Wilson tells Driscoll.

The Seattle Seahawks play the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Second Round Playoffs on Saturday at 1:35 PM on FOX. Game played at CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington.
