Chloe and Claire Gruenke are 13-year-old twin sisters who finished last in the 800-meter race at the Southern Illinois State Track Meet, and their parents couldn't be any prouder.

During the second lap of the race, Chloe felt a pop in her leg and collapsed. Claire saw her sister go down and stopped running to check on her.

When it was clear Chloe couldn't finish the race, Claire put her sister on her back and started to jog, and then walk, to the finish line. The crowd cheered every step of this beautiful display of love and compassion.
