Why pursue a Doctor of Ministry degree at George Fox Evangelical Seminary?
A DMin degree at George Fox Evangelical Seminary is...
Relevant
Students will find that both tracks offer a variety of praxis-based elements that engage them in their respective ministry contexts. This is especially so with the third-year project/dissertation. The sky is the limit when it comes to the creative integration of study and praxis.
Manageable
We have developed our doctoral programs with the working pastor in mind. If students are able to dedicate 15 hours per week, they will be able to stay on task without too much difficulty. The online component is designed to foster and sustain community and to keep students on task with their week-to-week work.
Formative
A DMin education enhances one's professional competencies as a ministry practitioner and thereby qualifies one for a variety of challenges, including parish ministry, chaplaincy, campus ministry, spiritual direction, mentoring, and teaching applied courses in Christian colleges and seminaries.
