George Fox offers 15 varsity sports – eight for women, seven for men – and competes in the nine-member Northwest Conference at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III level. We also offer a cheer program for students to cheer on the men’s and women’s basketball teams. We will add football and women's lacrosse in 2014.
George Fox is one of only two Northwest Conference schools to win multiple national team championships at the D-III level.
In 2009, our women’s basketball team went a perfect 32-0 and capped the year by becoming the first school west of the Rocky Mountains to win a D-III national title in basketball. Five years before, in 2004, our baseball team claimed a World Series crown.
We’ve earned district or conference titles in 10 different sports during the last decade, and more than 300 of our athletes have earned All-American and All-American Scholar-Athlete honors. George Fox coaches have held their positions for an average of almost eight years and together have accumulated more than 1,000 collegiate wins.
