    (continued from previous)

    In regards to women (whether lesbian or not) in the pastorate, the Bible is clear:

    (1 Timothy 2:9-15, Holy Bible/King James Version)
    “9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
    10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
    11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
    12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
    13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
    14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
    15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

    The HUSBAND of one wife… HIS children:

    (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
    2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
    3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
    4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
    5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
    6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
    7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.”

    (Titus 1:5-9, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
    6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
    7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
    8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
    9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.”

    It is not about discrimination against any one group, but it is about what the Word of God says. The Holy Bible is the standard for the Lord Jesus Christ's true church. But we must remember that not all “churches” on earth are true biblical churches. God says in Revelation that He will judge churches. Also, not all who profess to be “Christians” are truly Christ’s own, born again by the Spirit of God.

    Throughout the Bible, God gives warnings about various sins against Him, such as:

    (Romans 1:24-28, Holy Bible/King James Version)
    “24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
    25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
    26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
    27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
    29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
    30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
    31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
    32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

    Therefore, God describes homosexuals/lesbians above and in other verses throughout the Bible. For any church or denomination to seriously consider ordaining homosexuals/lesbians into the pastorate to shepherd Christ’s people in His church are violating biblical principles set forth by God Himself. They are either sadly blinded and do not understand the Word of God regarding this subject, or fear man and will not remain steadfast and practice biblical Truth.

    Returning back to reading and studying the Bible as a primary textbook (as was done in past generations) would be a great blessing to many families today. May many be encouraged to learn biblical truth for not only spiritual, but for practical knowledge and everyday living.

    (Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Holy Bible/King James Bible)
    “5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
    6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
    7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

    (2 Timothy 3:14-17, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
    15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
    16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
    17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

    The two different groups (Muslim and Christian) shall never agree. The two differ in what their standard for living are (both use two very different books to study from, which are also interpreted differently); and subsequently, the two groups vastly differ in their spiritual walk or way of living (in doctrine and in practice).

    As a Christian, by God's grace, I believe that the Word of God, the Holy Bible, is the standard for Truth and faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in living this earthly life unto God. The following are just some Bible verses that may be helpful to understand more what Christians believe.

    (Amos 3:3, Holy Bible/King James Version)
    "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

    (John 14:6, Holy Bible/KJV)
    "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

    (1 Corinthians 8:5-6, Holy Bible/KJV)
    "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."

    (1 Corinthians 3:10-11, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

    (Romans 1:16-17, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

    (1 Timothy 2:1-5, Holy Bible/KJV)
    “1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
    2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
    4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
