If we turn a blid eye to our christian views of homosexuality, they will all go to hell. Aren't we as followers of christ supposed to speak and do as He did. Homosexuality is an abomanation unto the Lord. His holy word tells us this. We are supposed to LOVE the sinner and HATE the SIN. Besides turning a blind eye and being silent on many moral issues, is what got this country like it is. We NED to stand up for our beliefs, and pray for those that persecute us , and for those that are dommed to hell to turned their lives to Christ! I have seen it happen alot of times in my life, it can happen.

Mike Huckabee got my vote in the primary. He IS the best Godly man for the job! You have to admit, when it looked bleak for him, a number of times he had god's favor. He captured more votes than even imagined. I think John Mc Cain would be wise to pick Huckabee as his runningmate! It's very nice to see Huckabee is still around.

Like it or not, Oprah has tremendous influence in the WORLD! I have noticed for years now that she was speaking the "new age" language. I decided not to watch her anymore. Even though I choose not to watch her show, many people do, and she is EVERYWHERE! Woe be to her if she doesn't repent and give her life to Jesus! Shey is leading many of His sheep astray. I want to prayt for her... Dear Lord,
It has been brought to light how Oprah is blinded by many false thoughts about how to get to heaven. What is worse, she is telling many this false teaching. Please help to open her spiritual eyes so that she will see the truth! She can do so much good work for your kingdom! Thank You Lord.
    In Jesus precious name,
    Amen!
I for one will no longer watch her shows, unless she gives her life to Christ. We have a voice through the ratings, What will you do? I will stand for Jesus!

  • Pentecostal Church Report Warns of False Prophets

I am a member of a pentacostal church. I have been one for a nuber of years. Yes, there are some people that give us pentacostals a bad name,. This is not unlike many other faiths I could mention. The main point is that we all beleive in God, and have asked Jesus in our lives! "No one comes to the father except through me." On the dao od pentacost in the booki of acts, all of those people were in the upper room when the holy spirit fell on them. They spoke in other toungues that they did not know. Others that they were drunk, only to call it being drunk on "new wine." It happened way back then. The apostles did many mighty miricles in Jesus name, just as He commanded them. I like to say I attend a bible beleiving, charasmatic church. Scriptures SHOULD be studied, after all it is the word of GOD. I have been to a church where only the leader has a bible, and no body knows what God means by certain things that are said! That IS leading a flock astray, and keeping them down. They don't know that they don't know. I realize my kind of worshiping, and my church isn't for everyone. We will all be in heaven someday worshiping God together without denominations. We need to stop pointing our fingers at each other, and start praying, and worshiping together! Only if we really beleive in what the bible says is true.

Am I alone when I ask... what is wrong with these christian views? God's chosen nation is Isreal! He asked all of us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We should NEVER agree to a split palastinian state!

I also watched "idol gives back", and was REALLY impressed with the show, until the end! Having family who live in the appilachia mountains, I was loving the fact that they highlighted that region. As a christian, I was so surprised and delighted when it was announced the contestents were going to sing "shout to the Lord!) I admit, I watched looking for cbs to pull a fast one. In the past, there have been a few things that were njot christian friendly. The latest being, that boy being ridiculed by the judges and the host for standing up for virginity. That is what the good Lord teaches us all, after all. For the most part, I like the show. I was apauled that they put in the word shepherd in the place of Jesus! I do give the show kudos for fixing the problem, and choosing the sond in the first place!

    wrhalver,
I agee with you totally. For the recod, I admire the views of James Dobson. I am 42 years old, so I guess that makes me old. I feel ALOT wiser than I did when I was much younger in many areas os my life. I'm sure when I get to be Dobson's age, I will be even wiser. I would NEVER take the word or viewpoint of only one man of who I will vote for. I look to many different views and issues of the candidates themselves.

I saw this story on 20/20. He IS an amazing speaker. He relates to teens and young people very well. We need more like him to talk to the disabled and the youth around the world. Even some of us older folks could learn a thing or 2!You go guy!

I know a few people who are diabled. I would like to know who gave the right to play God to just anyone. The lady I work for is diabled herself, and can do more things than anyone I know who is not! She has many talents, very smart, loving, and conciderate to name a few traits. I beleive no one should find out that their baby will have a physical or mental disability unless ther can be something done about it in the womb. All these people disposing of their babies are missing out on alot! By the way, some able bodied children grow up to be delinquents, murderers, pedifiles, ect. Who are we to say who lives and dies? Kudos to Ted Kennedy and Sam Browback, because scared parents, don't know where to turn for help.

I agree with you RBB. He HAS known this pastor and what he beleives for at least 20 years. If I don't agree with someone over alot of issues, I don't hang around them, and certainly not subject my family to their poison. I wonder why Obama didn't denounce this pastor when he gave him a big financial donation for his presidential campain. I've been praying that God will uncover the truth about our future presidental candidates. Thank you God for bring to light what is the REAL truth!

    HyperionOverseer,
Although you may not like what Danny has to say, he has a right to express his opinion just like we do. This is Not the christian way to stand up for Christ. People look on us christians as though we are always ready to attack. I'm sorry, but your proving their point.Others may say... why would anyone want to follow christ if this is how it is. Meaning to or not, you sound no different than our secular world.

I agree with dan1132b. I have to stand before our almighty God one day and give an account for whom I vote in office. For that reason I can't stand behind ANY candidate for abortion for any reason, or for any marrage except between a man and a women. That's how God intended it! There are more reasons that I don't have time to write, but ther are a couple of major ones.
