That's interesting, but from what I've seen exorcisms are usually relatively quick procedures, not necessarily painless or for the faint of heart, but still quick. Since Republicans and religious folks seem to be so concerned about all the Gays and Lesbians among us, they should include coverage for 7-10 years of 'reprogramming' at your local church operated gay conversion center .less

Where did I say the APA report said change was impossible? I have said I don't believe it's possible, and I still say that. But as a scientific/medical research group, I doubt the APA will ever say anything is absolutely impossible. The APA did say any enduring change in sexual orientation is unlikely and any change appears to be in sexual orientation identity, not in sexual orientation.

In (d) of the last paragraph they also dismiss the claims you become gay because you bumped your head on something, or your family was really messed-up.

But with all the mixing of religion and politics (to the detriment of both) that we see today, a younger generation of "bachelor farmers" just might have a flag, or something else to show their support.
