  • Reports: Burma Authorities Denying Aid to Cyclone-Hit Christians

Well, I confess I am ignorant to the way in which our country is contributing aid to the survivors. One news article stated that a Red Cross International boat had sunk off the shores of Burma while in the process of attempting to bring aid to the victims of this horrific storm. Is there a way in which Release International and Freedom International can somehow bring this latest persecution of Christians to the forefront of all countries assisting or attempting to assist Burma's dictator-led country, so that aid can be more readily given to all Burma's survivors? This is very disheartening to all Christians, even though we are aware that persecution of believers is happening throughout the world, not just in Burma.

I am not a "follower" of Hagee. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and a saved by grace Christian. Preachers who are preaching the entire message of Christ, including interpretations of Revelation, should not be compromising sound doctrine at the expense of politics or, becoming politically correct in the eyes of all peoples. Apologizing for something he believes to be the Turth has made Pastor Hagee appear unstable in all his ways. Very sad!

  • Preaching 'Sound Doctrine' in an Age that Avoids It

Amen! Great article! Sound doctrine is one of the most needful things in our churches today.
I have read posts on another site where four different "believers" contradict the very teachings on baptisim and three out of four believe "works" are necessary for salvation(?). Commentaries by sound preachers/teachers are helpful for ones spiritual growth, but that growth begins with a foundation of faith based on sound Biblical doctrines.

  • Why We're Losing Our Right to Speak Out

Why We Whisper: Restoring Our Right to Say It’s Wrong - What a perfect title for the message!
America has become so "politically" correct that it is blinded to what is so politically wrong. Many of the mainstream churches are aslo "whispering", for fear of losing members who wish
to hear a "feel-good" sermon, rather than hear a pastor preach the Truth. Spurgeon's sermons shouted from the rooftop and did not fear offending anyone for the sake of the Gospel. Today, many churches are dying, because those same members they feared losing, are walking away from politically correct churches to seek one that actually does not fear preaching all the Truth.
Yes, these are signs of the times, but for however long we still have time, may we not fear the rebuke of the unsaved and speak His Truth, in love, for His glory.
