x86 - I encourage you to read the Bible and not believe the traditions of men. The Bible is the word of God, the traditions of men are simply made up fables.

TonyO - Sorry but we have no intention of keeping it in our home and church. Our Lord told us to go and preach to the whole world and that is what we are going to do.

The fact that you think that all fundamentalists whether Christian, Muslim, etc are the same mean that you have simply not been informed of what is happening in the world. Daily all one has to do is look at the TV, Internet, newspapers, etc to see what Muslim fundamentalists are doing to innocent people around the world. To compare that with people preaching the gospel, and telling people what God says in the scripture is not responsible.

I think part of the problem is that you have the wrong impression of what Jesus taught. You say "he hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, and WORSE?" Of course He did, but He told them to repent, and go and sin no more. He loved sinners enough to die for their sin so they could spend eternity with Him, He didn't die so they could go on sinning and claim He was all for it.

This is a wonderful idea. Then the mother could see that what she is thinking of killing is a child, her child, not just " a lump of cells" as she has likely been told.

A group I belong to knits hat and bootie sets that are given out at a pregnancy center along with the ultrasound pictures. No pressure is put on the mothers, just information and the knowledge they need to make a decision that is one of the most important they will ever make.

NBC criticizing Christians... alert Mike Wallace. You were expecting what, that they would have a change of heart and suddenly love Christians?

As to homosexuality..God says it's a sin and an abomination. It isn't being intolerant saying that. It's telling the truth, and trying to warn someone to change before they go to hell. The point is that we warn out of love, not hate. If we hated we would keep our mouths shut and let homosexuals go to hell without a word.

God can not look on sin, those who die without forgiveness of them will go to hell. The only way to have sin forgiven is to repent of your sin (whether you think the sin should be characterized as one or not, only God's opinion counts), ask God for forgiveness, accept Jesus sacrifice for your sins, be forgiven through the blood of Jesus' death on the cross, and do your best not to sin anymore.

No actually the Bible tells me that. That's the book that God gave so that we would know about Him. I highly recommend reading it. Be prepared thought, you will find that what your church is doing and teaching, and what's in Gods Word, look very different.

You seem very concerned with how people sleep at night, that's really very nice.

No Protestants broke away because the Catholic church had completely left the original Christian faith.

SeekingHim - The timeline was in reference to those who said that the Crusades had nothing to do with the attempted conquest of Europe by Muslims.

Gonna need more info on "Kragie" got nothing of interest on Google. Sure your spelling's right?

Here is a timeline of the Crusades. It outlines what was attacked and when. It looks like Pastor Mohler is right.
