Mickey, if you are not a sinner in need of a Saviour, then you have no business here telling us sinners how wrong we are. I can't understand why you would WANT to hang around with sinners.

Ananias was plenty unsure of Saul, until he listened to the Word of the Lord. The lesson in this is to listen for Him/

Oh, that's right. Mick doesn't believe there is such a thing as sin. Don't know why he hangs out here, then.

Mike: I don't know what article you read. In the one above this comment, Haggard says the following:

"Haggard called himself "a deceiver and a liar".

"(H)e said, "I desperately need to be forgiven and healed."

"I believe Jesus came for the sinner. "

I'm sure if you spent hours complaining that the founder of Starbucks didn't mean for you to order a double no fat half caf with a sprinkle and proceeded to block out the parts of the menu you disagreed with, you'd probably get tossed out on your ear.

Unlike here, where we pray that you will repent and be saved.

Norman: I don't give a RIP how you live your life. You were created with a free will-exercise it.

I DO care when antichrists come on this site and teach lies. Again-you want to believe the lies, go ahead. I have exercised my responsibility by pointing you to His infallible Word. But if you teach others to sin, you are a failed watchman, and their blood is on your head.

SO: Go ahead and call names, because God clearly states that unrepentant sinners will not be citizens of Heaven. But if you have a problem with that, take it up with God. It's His law, not the law of the US that is the issue.

Human rights are conferred by God.
God says that marriage is one man, one woman.
If you don't like that definition, your problem is with God, not Chuck Colson. Take it up with Him.

And before you erupt with hate speech, show me the verse that says otherwise.

Most residents of Palestine in Christ's time were bilingual. The Jews spoke Aramaic and Greek (with some Hebrew), and the Romans spoke Latin and Greek.

"Greek was the language of universal intercommunication, just as, and even more than, Latin in the Middle Ages."
William Sanday, "Essays in Biblical Criticism and Exegesis", Continuum Int'l Publishing Group.

So it is indeed true that well educated Romans spoke Greek.

"I see that those who write here to defend homosexuality are not seeking truth, just want to debate."

Actually, they do not want to debate. Debate includes by definition factual argument. And whenever the homosexual false teachers are asked to provide a fact-just one, small fact-they resort to name calling and start accusing Christians of advocating mass murder.

    That missing "fact"?

Where in the Bible does God (as the Father, the Son, or the Spirit) EVER state that homosexual activities are Godly?

Norman, the word 'Salvation" and "Lord" never appear in the bible, either. It was written in Hebrew and Greek. However, the Greek and Hebrew words meaning "homosexual acts" and the Greek and Hebrew words for "sin" are indeed used a synonyms.

SO: Where does God say that buggery is OK?

Since I am familiar with all of the passages that specifically state that homosexual acts are a sin, perhaps you could direct me to that passages you are reading that tell you that God blesses them.

    Thanking you in advance!

"...the way is clear for citing many of these Constitution-breakers as precedents when this current administration decides to trample some more of our constitutional rights. Does anyone else understand this?"

Oh, you can bet the farm that Eric Holder (and D-ck Cheney, for that matter) understand it perfectly.

steve: "In your book everybody can be protected by the military but not all Americans living in a modern industrialized nation should have access to decent health care"

Everyone DOES have access to health care in the US. Discrimination is forbidden under our Constitution. Likewise, the Constitution states that the responsibility of the State is to "Provide for the common Defense".

Can you tell me where in the Constitution of the US of A is the authority to force all citizens to purchase insurance, under the threat of imprisonment?

iff. I don't see anything in my post that refers to your questions, so I'll ask you a question or two.

What part of the Bible says that homosexual activity is blessed by God?

What part of the Bible says that Caesar should handle charity rather than the Church?

Steve: TANSTAAFL comes from "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein. It stands for "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch." Somebody has to pay it, and there is a large percentage (47 percent) of US households that pay no income tax. These people think that their health care will be "free". Unfortunately, those that pay those taxes will demand raises in order to afford the new taxes, raising consumer costs for the people that thought it was all free.

A confiscatory tax rate is a rate that reduces economic productivity to yield the same tax revenue that a lower tax rate would achieve with its offsetting economic growth.
