Your "micro-evolution: sure; macro-evolution: nope" is a common misconception (lying) that creationists use to justify their everything-is-supernatural-magic beliefs. Macroevolution is nothing more than microevolution repeated thousands of times over millions of years and thousands of generations. There is no invisible barrier that prevents new species from very gradually developing. I could talk to you about the countless fossils that creationists keep denying exist. I noticed whenever an important fossil is discovered the Discovery Institute immediately lies about it. Did I mention everyone who works for the Disco Institute is a professional liar? Anyway the fossils are completely unnecessary. The real proof is in the DNA of animals including us. It's too complicated to explain here, so read the book I recommended. I don't care what you do, but if you choose to remain willfully ignorant, you have no right to spread lies about evolution.

Why are there still so many evolution-deniers in the 21st Century? I would guess there are many reasons these flat-earthers refuse to accept what every biologist has accepted for more than 100 years. Part of the problem I talked about earlier - what I call the "Liars for Jesus". The worst liars work for the Discovery Institute, but there are thousands of other people in dozens of other organizations who make a living by constantly lying about science.

The other problem is people have been brainwashed since they were 2 years old to believe humans were magically created to be separate from nature. They are terribly wrong. Humans are part of nature and they are just one small branch on the vast tree of life. Humans share a common ancestor with the other ape species and humans ARE an ape species. Some people are too cowardly to face these facts, so they choose to remain willfully ignorant about science.

The other problem is Genesis in the Bible. Genesis is a made up story, as is the rest of the Bible, but people have been brainwashed to believe the Bible, written by ancient know-nothing primitive people, is a book of facts. People need to grow up and accept modern science. Their Bible is obsolete. Believe in Mr. God if you want, but you can't continue denying all life evolved unless you want to be laughed at.less
