But the slave may plainly declare, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children. I would rather not go free.' If he does this, his master must present him before God. seedplanter has been censoring comments? Very interesting. Just when I thought my opinion of seedplanter couldn't possibly get any lower, I find out he censors people who are trying to help him understand science.

I noticed two of agentorange's comments were censored. I'm concerned about this censorship. I didn't serve in the US Army so there could be censorship in this country.
By the way, Ben Stein said "We just want free speech." What he really means is he wants to force science teachers to spread the same lies about science he's been spreading. That's not called free speech, it's called destroying science education. People can spread all the lies they want, but they got a lot of nerve if they think they can force science teachers to do their lying for them.
The censorship I don't like is when anyone is censored on a blog. I don't care if I agree with them or not, censorship is wrong. -
seedplanter, instead of babbling about christians who were against slavery, while ignoring the obvious fact all American slave owners were christians who used the bible to justify slavery, why don't you tell us why you are unable to understand simple scientific facts like natural selection.

Are you sure you want to claim slavery has nothing to do with racism. I noticed those Christians who used the Bible to justify slavery didn't own any white slaves.

"What lying do we do?" Just about everything creationists say about evolution is lying. A lot of the lying is obviously intentional, and a lot of the lying is because they are willfully ignorant. I suggest you and others, Chris333, actually read the comments of people who understand evolution better than you do, instead of repeating the same lies over and over again.
Christians here, including you Chris333, are constantly repeating the lie that evolution equals racism, even after it's explained to them the understanding of evolution would eliminate racism. Do you and others here bother to read all the comments? You people repeat some lie, then it's explained that you are wrong, then you immediately repeat the same lie again. Talking to a creationist is a lot like talking to a dog, except the dog is more likely to actually learn something. I suggest pay attention, read all the comments, and try THINKING. Thinking is not a sin. Thinking will not send you to your mythical hell.
By the way, every single slave owner in American history was a Christian who used the Bible to justify slavery. Despite the constant lying of creationists like Stein and some people on this blog, understanding evolution would eliminate the racism so many Christians continue to have today.

Christians believe jesus rose from the dead to become a zombie that then flew up to the clouds. It really is impossible to be any more insane than that. -
