Please provide and back up your reply with scripture. Not your personal feelings. That way if anyone encounters any questions on this matter outside the forum they can use those scriptures as a reverese. Blessings!

Rom 1:26-27 Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn't know how to be human either—women didn't know how to be women, men didn't know how to be men. Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches (From the Message Bible)

i agree Black. As Christians it is the Word that we shall live according to and nothing else. Not science or man's so called commonsense.
So he was married had a child and then HE decided he wants to be a woman and yet he still marries a woman. Why not believe in God for overcoming any situation and circumstance in your life

lol..its funny to me no where in the scriptures have i seen the black church. but i have seen THE CHURCH. i agree the Presidents views and stance on certain issues is completely against God. But this isnt the first time the people of God was under leadership that was contrary to His word. the book of Daniel being a great example.
But by no means is this a black church or white church thing it is a becoming a cancerin the body of christ just as the thought process of segregation is.

    Brethern,
i completely understand being lead by the spirit. Butsome things are just common sense. If you are a new creature then the old man should be thrown away. why do you even have a desire to drink? or why do you have a desire to see that r rated movie? whinch more than likely includes nudity and a whole bunch of other mess not needed. I know God wants us completely sold out on Him. Granted some movies that are R rated that are action that i enjoy.

None of you must be familiar with the chapel services associated the military or DOD. First, you don't even have to be saved to be a chaplian for a christian service. Also they are limited on what they can preach about. those are just a few things.

    Mike,
That is not true. Rom 1:26,27 speaks of. Also in S and G the angels were men in which they wanted to sleep with other than Lots daughters. so it was more than just rape. Get in the Word

Cheisa: I liken Christians who think they are saved by faith alone to a man who says he is a carpenter. He tells everyone how he loves carpentry, reads the carpenters' handbooks and learns all he can about carpentry. He says he one with wood and nothing fufills him like carpentry.

Then, you go to his house and it's made of metal. There is no furniture inside that he has built. None of his friends have been given any of his works in wood. It seems he has never actually practiced his craft.

So regardless of how he loves carpentry, how much he thinks he knows about carpentry through his readings and what he knows ahout the varied properties of different woods, is he truly a carpenter? I would say not becasue we have no concrete manifestation of it. He can't be a carpenter, really, because he's never done the work.

I contend that it's that way with Christian faith and works. You can say what want, feel what you want, read what you want, but if you don't do the work of Christ then you are not truly a Christian.

this is nothing but the truth. thats why James said without works is dead. Salvation is the beginning of your christian walk not the end.
