You are right prophet... myself and countless others have left the RC Church..me a long time ago. I could no longer put up with the hypocrisy and the doctine... I was raised in a RC school and the education I got was great but it also came along with some force feeding of their dogma. I now belong to the wide-open Church of Christ...the true Church. No denomination. will never have it any other way.

Oh how right you are my friend....but they already are leaving in droves...one of the reasons why the women in countries recently -taken over by sharia law are not allowed to have ID cards...so they cant leave the country, such as afhganistan. Christians in Malaysia are not even allowed to order a book from O/S as they fear customs will find out and they get seriously bashed or murdered or jailed. H4H..couldn't agree more...A long time ago I was very lost and in a bad spiritual way...the mormons take full advantage of this state in a person...they grabbed me, had me baptised within 6 weeks and kept me so busy in their church activities I didnt have time to think. But it only lasted about 3 months then I started to question them...wrong...not allowed to do that...my childhood Catholic upbringing came back to me and I had more q's..all of which I got reprimanded for. I soon officially resigned from the mormons and so I was blackbanned and any friends I had made were forbidden to have anything to do with me. The mormons are on a par with islam...if you don't agree with them..watch out.
So CPost...why do you advertise these false prophets on your site.
As for the story,,,for goodness sakes.. the worker took them to the beach and they heard Christian music for 10 mins. Well excuse me!! How offended am I and many others when I have to put up with the call to prayer from the local mosque.??? And seeing Jesus our Saviour denigrated by muslims really makes me angry, why do you not cover stories of the persecution of Christians by muslims?
BTW... a few years ago I went back to Jesus and asked His forgiveness. So now I know where I am in life and where I want to end up. And I belong to the True Church of Christ, which is NO denomination.

Well are the atheist's club going to at least shut their mouths when Christians do congregate together...after all..if atheists want the right to speak out against God then Christians have the right to speak for God. These atheists are just as bad as the muslim groups who want every imaginable concession on University grounds while at the same time want to deny other people their rights. If Christian groups are to be banned then let ALL groups, whether they be atheists, muslim, or bloodywell Protestants not be allowed to say or do anything according to their beliefs. How many 'unions' do people want at a University for goodness sakes? I thought a Student Union was there for ALL students, now we seem to be having a union for all different sorts of rubbish.

Strange ya know... but in 1998-99 I was a mature aged student in Uni...in a class full of 20 something yo. The majority of the Uni, the Prof's and students were left wing. I soon learnt to 'Play the game' and write my essays in sociology and cultural studies the way the profs and tutors wanted me to write them even tho I didnt agree or believe in what I was writing...but hey, I got excellent results. The student union controlled so much on campus and I soon learnt to keep my real opinions to myself.... about my view on politics, my view on religion and Jesus, as we also got islam shoved down our throats as if it was the best thing since sliced bread....now in hindsight, and if I was the litigious type I think I would have sued....but I just wanted to get thru my studies to get my degree and get the hello out of there. I was at the time also going through a court case to do with my childhood, so I was already under tremendous pressure. Now I sometimes feel weak for not standing up for what I believe in...so good on this girl for doing so.

yes RalphW... I agree that when one group preaches to others about who has found Jesus and who won't be saved because they have not found Jesus but say they are Christians are doomed. I have some friends like that...they are full on Pentecostal and unless you have 'been saved'and are 'spirit-filled' then you are not as holy as them and we will not be with Jesus at the 'end times'. They are constantly trying to get me to go to 'Their Church' to be born again'. She even feels soory for her mum coz she is only orthodox Christian and has not be born again like her. What gives anyone the right to judge others on the level of belief...there is only one who can do that. God himself through Jesus Christ.

Maybe this bus driver is simply giving back what has been done and is being done to Christians in the UK and other places around the world....muslims won't do this or that because it offends them...well this sign about there being no God would have offended me too. It is about time that Christians or not start standing up to be counted and tell these islamists that they come to our homelands and therefore should respect the religions and culture of the peoples of said homeland....just as we all try to respect their ideology/political/religion system. They migrate then expect everyone not to insult them but they have no qualms about the insults they heap on everyone else. And all the concessions they insist upon regardless of the inconveniences it causes to the natives of the host country. If they don't like it they are more than welcome to return to where they came from.

Minister Adam, Bravo... I could not have said it any better myself. I used to watch the Osteens all the time as well as a few others of the same type. I got so tired of every one of them going on about giving God tithe money and then He will supply all other needs, and would assure me of being saved. Gee I know many people who give regular tithes and I know where they will be going, due to their lives and life style, which is rather sinful! As a Christian I tried not to be envious of the success of all these very popular televangelists, who without fail would say that my life would go nowhere until I gave first to God, then pay my bills. And just being a good person and reading the Bible was not going to stand me in good stead with God. Well sometimes, I couldn't afford to pay all my bills let alone give money to people who were so obviously very wealthy, and ok, they do a lot of work in the 3rd world field missions etc, but I just cannot justify paying tithes to any church. I donate money to different religious orgs, when I can and I get great satisfaction in doing so. I do not belong to any church at all, as I am not going to be made to feel guilty for not giving a regular 10% and then other offerings to help this project or that special fund out of my single disability pension.Then things like CD's and DVD's that are mass produced but still at a cost of what I would pay in darn K-Mart. So after I exceeded my credit card limit because of giving to certain TV evangelists, out of a sense of guilt that they imposed on us TV viewers, I don't give anything anymore, nor do I buy any 'special' books or CD's that raise money for starving children in Africa etc. As much as I would like to belong to a community of God loving people, I am not going into any denominational 'Church' to do so. I feel that some 'home-based churches' are a bit over the top and the people are very zealous types, so I just survive on the Bible, prayer, the worship CD's I have and the special books that have to do with Jesus, Christianity and The Church of Jesus as it was started with Him etc. Your question of why were the Osteens in 1st class is spot on... why were they not in economy with regular people? Is it not good enough, are the people not their equals? Jesus would have been happy in the cargo area. I also can't understand why Victoria just did not get a cloth and wipe the spill instead of making a big deal out of it. The spill was on her armrest, not like her seat was wet. I know God expects no more of me than what I am already doing, so my days of feeling bad about myself are over. I wish you great happiness with your teaching under the oak trees, I only wish I could be one of your listeners.

hello lk 20850...I wish 'Eagles Wings' good luck with bringing other youths and maybe even elders to the fold of Jesus' loving arms. I have enjoyed my years of learning about Native American culture and was wondering how you go about your 'Spirituality', Spirits in the sky and all the mythology... etc. while accepting God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit? Our Aussie Native/ indigenous Aboriginals have the same sorts of troubles in their native lands and reserves and even suburbs and regional cities. Many are accepting the Bible and so leaving a life full of hardship, rape, child sexual abuse, child neglect, drunkeness, drugs, petrol sniffing and neglect amongst other things. Our govt embarked on the Intervention program of helping them to help themselves and in so quarantining the majority of their welfare payments. Many of their people wanted this, begged for years for it...but as usual there were the ones who wanted no interference from govt...just the welfare dollars.

Yes, Australia is still sending jobs over there too...as if we haven't got an unemployment crisis as it is. Oh don't let the statistics fool anyone. Here, if you do 1 (one) hour of work a week...you are classed as employed. This really angers me when they lump all the hours together and come up with an average and govt brag about how low the unemplyment rate is. If there is one thing I learned at Uni is that you can make statistics, averages, mean and charts/graphs read any way you want them too with a bit of clever manipulation. I for one will not be watching any part at all of the olympics and will not buy any merchandise to do with it either. If I could I would not buy any products made in China either, but this is becoming increasingly difficult to do as many labels say made in ...whatever...but part of the product has been made in china.
Anyone ever notice how the countries that commit such atrocities are the ones who put their hands out first for the AID money when a disaster hits, and quite often, I dare say, that it would be the Christian people who are donating a good portion of this money?

reading this article made me give thanks to God. A sould cannot be cancelled.My 15 yo grandaughter recently decided to keep her baby from being aborted after being pressured by PlannedParenthood and the hospital they are attached to.A very misleading name. I was beside myself with grief as the dr and psyc did a good tapdance on her head telling her it was only a lump of tissue and she'd get over it etc. I did a lot of research and had support from Prolife group.Thank God she changed her mind and I am claiming its due to all the prayers people were saying on her and my behalf.I found this website that might be of help to people in so much as a baby /fetus is a soul. www.cradleofgrace.org This would be of great solace to anyone who has had an abortion somewhere through their life.it's the abortionists who will have to answer for all their murders one day and soon I believe.
