Sure one can be "moral," according to worldly standards, without God. But, where will that get you? There are some people who have been "moral" all their lives and will still stand before the gates of hell because Jesus was not accepted by them. Our righteousness is as filthy rags! The Bible also says that there is no good thing in this flesh. I am not saved because I was moral my whole life, I'm saved because I really needed saving! People are to fixed on works and things that Christians don't do. But we don't do (or not do) these things to get saved, we do these things or abstain from these things because we are saved. there is no way that we could ever earn grace. This article is just another sign of the endtimes and more of a reminder that we need to be working in the vineyard.

I was pretty upset also, I don't believe that they let a lot of things even get aired. But I guess that is the society we live in. I just make sure that certain things don't make it into my home or come across my son's screen. It's really sad what we have to do just to let our kids be kids!

Well, if Romans 3:23 is completely false, then, yes, abstinence is realistic. If Romans 3:23 is entirely true, then, well... you had better use a condom.

Romans 6 asks the question shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid... what about this one?
I think that there could be a better messenger. But, I can relate, I had a child out of wedlock and now I can tell from experience that teens should wait. If it's hard for me then it's got to be hard for teens. Being rededicated back to God has been the only thing that has kept me. It wouldn't be so tough had I waited.
I don't think anyone should judge her (Rom 3:23) but she should certainly be tactful in her approach.

We are not against stopping "hate crimes." We are against the people trying to tell my pastors what not to say. I didn't get saved by people telling me it was ok to sin. And no one gets delivered from anything by sugar coating the truth! I am not judging anyone because I am just a sinner saved by grace; but woe will be unto to them that preach not the Gospel. God is NOT calling for a church (NOT the building or denomination) that goes with the flow. Didn't Jesus say that the world would hate us because we are His followers? Well, persecution is a sure sign that we're doing something right.

But there is so much more too it than we can really handle. It goes farther than birth control. There are children that are having sex even before puberty really sets in. We (parents/ guardians) have to stop being shy about talking about it. We can be uncompromising Christians and still educate our children about every facet of what sex really is. (No I will never give my son a condom and say "well, since you're gonna do it anyway...") But we should tell them the whole truth, there is so much out there bombarding our kids. We need to equip them with the WHOLE truth, so when the devil comes and tries to tempt them, they have some ammunition to fight with.

What about the day that He rose? There is a question about that too. Many believe that he was crucified on a Friday and rose on a Sunday (which leaves Him one day short of three). Personally, I think he was really crucified on a Wednesday and rose on a Saturday.) I mostly basing this on Matt 28:1. Any thoughts? I know the most important thing is that He rose at all, but it's still good to know.

I understand some of his frustrations, but clarity comes when we realize that since we are not greater than our Master Jesus Christ, who suffered greatly, we will suffer. He told us that the world would hate us and that we would be persecuted. The Bible also says "think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened to you." I try (I said try lol) to keep that mind set because we are not of the world, but we are in it. And he does need to do some studying on the relationship between the Mosaic Law and Jesus Christ, and the Old and New Testament.

I am a little sad too. I liked their show, but I also like the new Lady (Lisa Williams, I think). I think she is really coming through despite the adjustment she had to make in her schedule (it's so early!!!) I just love KLOVE and their purpose to give God glory will continue on. I will pray for and will really miss all three of them (plus Lexi).

I understand what you mean Prophet and of course you're right, there is, "forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, deliverance, and mercy for those who have truly repented." Otherwise we'd all be on our way to "the lake." But he needs to realize that he became a stumblingblock to someone who may have been won to Christ by watching his life. I think he needs to sit down and be taught, he has already made merchandise of God's people. (People who scrimp and sacrifice just to pay tithes and offering)! This was really a blow to the body of Christ and the devil is loving it! I hate especially when he tricks the leaders like this, because the flock always suffers greatly. We are all sinners saved by grace, but everyone shouldn't lead.

I think that happens for a few reasons:
    1. Many think that there is a such thing as "once saved, always saved."
    2. they think that giving "lip service" equals salvation and there is no inner change or lifestyle change.
    3. this is just another example of someone falling away from the faith because of false doctrine and conformity.

Just watching the news lets us know that God is on His way back very soon! This world is crazy, and when I read things like this I think about 2 Corinthians 4:4. The devil has blinded the minds of so many so they won't be exposed to the real truth!

I am not a feminist but I believe God's Word confirms itself over and over. In both the old testament and the new, there are women (even though very few) in positions of authority. When we study we have to make sure that we read in context, Why did Paul write that to Timothy? And in another letter seem to contradict himself? He is actually consistent. Sorry it's so long.

In Romans 16, Paul commends to the Roman church several women, one of which is, â

Wow! Melancthon your comments are on-target! I don't understand! Don't these people who profess to be Christians realize that they will have to stand in front of who they say they know so well? Maybe they've been lying to themselves and everyone else so long, that they think they fooled God too. Reprobate minds maybe? Luke warm? I think so.
