"If you've actually read the thread, you see that I mention the lack of evidence directly seven times. I also mention that Christian beliefs are "arbitrary" twice. My issue is quite definitely with the lack of evidence. It is because of said lack of evidence that I reject Christianity. I find that founding a moral code on baseless speculation to be an illegitimate claim of authority. You, on the other hand, filter reality through your belief in god, so you have a confirmation bias. That's why you think you see evidence, as you yourself have admitted. I, on the other hand, wait for evidence before I believe things, rather than look for evidence to confirm what I already believe. "
How about historical evidence? Although the Tomb is empty and that is something we believe in Faith that happened. The books of the Bible themselves have been around for centuries. The book of Acts can show at least 42 historical facts that have not been disputed.

Citizen- so far in your rants and postings you have offered a few things to look at but most of the items you have posted is nothing but hostility towards Christians.
"Read The Bible Unearthed by Neil Asher Silberman and Israel Finkelstein for a recent summary of archeological knowledge concerning the Old Testament. As for the New Testament, read www.strippingthegurus.com, and ask yourself why you dont believe the claims of modern gurus, but you do believe the same claims about Jesus. In the end, all you have is threats, but fear is a lousy reason to believe something is true."
Read Normman Gieslers " I don't have enough Faith to be An Athiest" also please read Evidence that demands a Verdict and Case for the Creator both by Josh McDowell. Here is a link to his site and he was not a Chritian prior to writing the books, http://www.josh.org/apologetics/skeptical.asp

We hear about the Goddess of this or the Goddess of that everyday in the news on tv shows and in Schools. You have a choice whether or not to go to Church if you do not want to go then don't. We do not have a choice in our Public Schools on what are children are taught the National Association of Educators has seen to that. We may be able to voice our opions regarding what is being taught butin todays "Enlightened" Society where people think they know what is better for our children than we do are brushed aside and basically told we do not care what you think.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
