cmd: The context of my comments were to illustrate the hypocrisy of 2010's "brain washing" remark. But since you brought it up, the argument for evolution is about as porous as the Mexican border. You don’t want another explanation in the classroom because the “theory” may not be able to handle the competition.

In 2010 I read the Bible cover to cover for the first time. I plan on doing this each year for the rest of my life. This year I am going to start memorizing scripture. It is a love letter from God and we just let it collect dust. Get the full counsel of God and worship at a Church that teaches it!

Remember when Satan tries to tempt Jesus in Matthew 4? Three times Jesus answers by quoting scripture. Deuteronomy 8:3, 6:16, 6:13. This is an example of how we should face trials and temptations. Go to the Bible!

I believe God cares about who wins and loses because I believe God cares about each persons life. If part of that life is spent on the field, then God cares. If it is spent in the stands, or behind a desk, or playing with your kids, then God cares. God wants ALL of the life we give Him. He doesn't say "Oh that was just a game, so I don't care".
