  • Reformed Church Head Rebuts Vatican's 'One True Church' Claim

I am never amazed at the doublespeak of the Catholic Church. It reminds me of the Arab world where they will say one thing in english to the western world and something totally different in Arabic on the "street." The aim of the "True Church of Jesus Christ" is not domination over another Christian faith but cooperation in winning souls to Jesus Christ. Had a protestant denomination made the remarks of Pope Benedict that Catholic Church would be screaming about its intolerance. We are not an "eccliastical community" but a Royal Priesthood bought and paid for by the Blood of Jesus. Get over it!

We have seen the slippery slope syndrome take hold in this country. It is frustrating and exasperating to see that parents are losing more and more say in how their children are taught in the public school. The homosexual agenda is like a lion with a voracious appetite devouring every thing in its path. We must continue to stand up for holiness and purity and do all we can to cage this lion.

I think this was an excellent article. It shows how the church is struggling to keep its orthodox perspective in check. Bravo to the Lutheran church for holding its ground on this very important issue.
