"This is probably the last thing a discouraged person wants to do",or can do. This is where we need the body of Christ.
Jesus sent his disciples out in twos. He knew that we needed the body of Christ. When one is down the other is there to help the other keep a Christ-centred focus. We in the west are far too independent and self sufficient. One reason depression is so prevalent.
I have had a severe chronic illness for 17 years and know God's sustaining power and provision and agree totally with the writer, but I have still needed the fellowship of the body of Christ in the 'hours of darkness"

Disbeliever said that atheists know there is no such thing as eternal Life.
To be in a position to know that, impies one has all and complete knowledge of everything from which one can make such a judgment. Bit like playing 'God', isn't it!
Omniscience is an attribute of God not man(generic)

Let's not give up praying for appropriate relief to get to these suffering people. May our Heavenly Father's name be honoured as His Body- the church , continues to bring his goodness, mercy and compassion in word and deed.

    Matthew 9:38
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

    Matthew 9:36
When he(Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

    Feet,
t When we don't give God the rightful place in our lives our minds can not see clearly and God allows us to pursue what we choose. See the rest of the chapter for the context but quite cleary homosexuality is against God's divine plan for humanity.
    Roman 1:
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
