  • Vatican Representative Tones Down 'One True Church' Statement

Anyone who doesn't understand the "Reformation" will not understand why the Vatican (and all Catholics) share this belief that other Christian churches do not have the full deposit of the faith that Christ taught. Before one starts getting upset and saying how harsh they feel the statments are from His Holiness they should look into the history of their church. Look further into your own history and development and you will all see that without the Catholic church you would have had no beginning.
Benedict XVI is not building wall, merley reaffirming what all Catholics believe. It is not insulting someone to tell them the truth so they do not loose their soul. The truth may offend, but better to have your pride hurt than loose your soul. It will always be a time of conflict as the devil is battling for your eternity. Peace comes at the price of mankind's humbling himself.
