I love the way the Burris supporters immediately sound in the racial discrimination card. It doesn't matter what ethnic background the appointee was, the ruckus is all about the investigation and the cloud of impropriety that may exist.

Religious Freedom is being attacked in the UN by the Defamation of Religions Resolution. It is a one-sided resolution that would make it a criminal act to defame a religion. In the resolution, it only talks specifically about the Islamic religion. In simple terms, if the resolution were to pass, then preaching another religion in countries ruled by Islamic law would then be considered a crime and the persons found guilty could be punished to the full extent of the law. This would mean the death penalty for presenting Christianity, Hinduism, Buddism or any other religion inside any Islamic state.

Although you feel secure enough in your salvation not to be offended by the sign, I think you overlook one thing... not everybody has accepted Jesus Christ as there savior. As Christians we must think of the needs of others.

Its pretty arrogant of you to write such an assuming message that because we disagree with the sign that is displayed that we do nothing regarding the other issues you put forth to us. Just because I feel the sign attacks religion and choose to voice my opinion on the subject, does not mean that I do not give aid where and when I can. Are you totally devoted to solving those problems, cause you took the time to post a message also.

If you readthe words on the sign, it is an attack on religious institutions and beliefs. They do not stay within the parameters of their beliefs of an athestic worldview and state their case from there, but instead launch an assualt on religion and GOD by describing them as myth. If they don't belive in GOD, then let them display a sign with what they view as truth rather than insult thhose of us who do believe.
