  • Gay Rights Agenda Is Shutting Down Debate on Homosexuality, Says Author

The parable in Luke again needs to be understood spiritually. Jesus has left earth, he will return. Upon His return we will give an account for what He has left us, His gospel. The more we have invested in Him the more our reward will be. If we do nothing with His gospel we will not receive a reward, life with Him in heaven.

We always need to look at the spiritual consequences of sin. God’s people in the OT were a shadow of His church to come. His people now are to lead/instruct/encourage people to understand the consequences of sin so that death does not separate them from God.less

gd, you misunderstand the Scriptures. God through the OT Laws were to show the consequences of sin, which was death, physical thus spiritual. Sin causes death. Jesus died on the cross to free people from the penalties sin and spiritual death. We no longer are put to physical death for sin because of Jesus, although, we will be judged for either being dead to sin or walking in sin when He returns; ...more

Good people will not resort to these violent behaviors simply because they disagree. Violent behaviors are for evil people only. Hurting another in the name of God is an act of divisiveness to sway too many people into doubt and confusion. But we know they are not committing violence for God’s sake, but the evil they have allowed to enter into their hearts and minds.less

Jerome, the church in this instance was the Catholic church and the thing they longed for was to not be wrong thereby undermining the authority they proclaimed to be. The universe was created by God with many complexities that are not necessary to salvation. While the universe is awesome and profoundly intriguing, God’s main purpose was salvation for all who would except His Word for their lives...more

2011, Separation of church and state is not in the US Constitution. The phrase was in a letter from John Adams to the Danbury Baptist stating that the government would not have any say in religious matter, not the other way around. Although, it has been interjected into our courts and many believe it is actually in our Constitution.

I believe that John Adams and the founders recognized the importance of religious principles in our society, in our people, and in our government.less

Therefore homosexuality is man-made. Homosexuals recognized they were at conflict with the Word of God and while understandable to a point, began to align themselves closer to what God wanted for married people, love and fidelity. When the Bible speaks to marriage it is only in the context of men and women. It is frustrating because there is no evidence in the Bible for homosexuality. It is frustrating on both sides of the argument.less
