So much for Casey Treat, Wendy Treat and her showing on Fox News and how about the Christian Governor of Washington State, we are asking for a Christmas Tree at Christmas time, its our holiday.

Hey let's do this, they don't like our holiday so let's just once, all Christians do not buy any gifts this year, not one gift, let's focus on Jesus, have our services worship and praise God for the gift he gave, and I promise you the Governor and the state legislators will be begging us to put any tree any where next year, including Seatac Airport if only we will lift the ban on spending.

While we do understand that no man is an island, God does look at us as individuals, and we are not saved by the church but by faith in Christ, our salvation is not dependent on accepting ungodly and umbilical lifestyles of people just to be nice, with all respect Jefferts Schori is wrong, and by the way – "ubuntu," which means "I am because we are" – is an African concept and not a biblical one and is intentioned to focusing on restoring relationships with our neighbors in South Africa rather than our relationship with God.

Of course this is the church that broke away from Rome because the founder could not keep himself to one wife but had to kill a few of them and marry a bunch of others, when your roots are evil were else can you go

I am so sorry that we have been such a bad example of what a Minister and a Church should be as an older Pastor who has traveled and ministered with the biggest and the best I have to repent for the Church my generation has handed to the next , this joint Pastoral thing has nothing to do with ministry and everything to do with two salaries and a Megastar lifestyle, what happened to the wives of Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, Lester Sumeral, and a host of others how come God is only using women in this way in the 21st century

This whole thing is a disgrace, it has nothing to do with his health or her calling it has to do with survival, both of them are down the tank and on Sunday they will honor him with a huge "gift" pay off, I am amazed that her mentors Jakes et al allows her to get away with this and make a mockery of the Gospel, they are forgiven but there are consequences to their actions, how are we supposed to tell our children to live clean, honest, integris lives when this our their example, she came to South Africa and made a fool of herself and Megafest a disgraced women coming to Africa to tell us how we should live, Wake up church of Laodicea, I am sorry to say More fool you Tampa.

I think it would be good to check how many Pastors have been laid off by mega churches to maintain the budget for 2009, one Seattle Mega Church has laid off 40 people including 3 senior and 1 junior Pastor to keep the pot boiling, but the lead teacher or family that owns the Mega Churches have not changed there lifestyle at all and generally earn 10 times more that the rest of the Pastoral staff, the same is true for the televangelists, it is un Godly to lay off Pastors who have been called by God to a church and then to be asked to leave because the cost of everything else is so high that there is no money for Pastors

I think most of you are missing the point of my note, this is not about me and being laid off , it does not matter how much the church gives or does not give to missions etc. it is ungodly for a Pastor to earn $600,000 plus royalties, plus honoraria for outside speaking services, it grows to a grand total of probably $1Mill per year, if we demand that the CEO's of AIG, Citi Bank, GM etc. list their salaries because of taxpayer bailouts what about CEO's (Pastors) and CEO's of 501 3c's that are tax exempt, and run on "public" funds why should they not divulge salaries and perks, people this is God's money, tithes and offerings of God's people, it is a disgrace, and God will not allow it to continue for much longer, in Jesus Name I believe it.

I do not think it should be criminalized but I do not think it should be lauded either, it is a deviant lifestyle, this is the thin edge of the wedge that will in the future lead to total equality with heterosexual marraige as has taken place in the deviant western world

Ok this is why the Mega guys and the TV guys make what they make because when the light shines on the ungodly way that peoples tithes are spent by the the Megas it is turned around to make the the small guy look bad, Oh and by the way along with 30 other people on staff I was laid off and the Mega kept on being a Mega, the church in America deserves what it gets, one of you said "What would Jesus Do" I wonder

Please do not tell me that the God who created all beauty can condone a man making love to another man full of fesses and any amount of disease and then call it love lets just tell the truth for once and not blame God.

So the Senior Pastor like most Megachurch Pastors make six figures $600,000 plus and the associate Pastors that really do all the work like me make $40,000 a year no car, no housing, no free flights, no outside honorariums at about $5,000 to $10,000 a service , maybe the president should look at that, I wonder what Jesus would do
