  • Churches Mark 100th Year of Ecumenism; Ponder New Ways of Holding Unity, Diversity

In answer to your question, the Scriptural reference for unity is John 17:21 and 17:23. Peace.

  • Christian Pakistani Woman Sentenced to Death for Blasphemy

Agreed, and our President who intervened so that a Quran would not be burned, and has been praying Islamic prayers in a mosque in the last week, will say nothing. Believers, we need a Christian (a real Christian) in the White House in 2012.

  • Oklahomans Asked to OK Ban on Islamic Law in State Courts

I'm surprised our so-called Christian President isn't weighing in on this...to stop it from happening. Go Oklahoma and may other states exhibit the leadership that the country waited for the last two years and now realizes they will not see.

  • Christian Family in Bangladesh Attacked, Charged with Crime

And our fair-and-balanced President Obama, who intervened so that a Koran would not be burned, said in response to this ACTUAL burning of a Bible...well, he said nothing. I do miss having a Christian for a President.

  • Ex-Muslim: Proposal that Islam is Tolerant is Fallacious, Dangerous

Finally, an article that tells the truth about Islam...Muslims, come home to Christianity. Your true Prophet awaits you.

  • Poll: Evangelicals Admit Negative Contributions of Christians to Society

How about we take a different approach than to perpetuate the arguments in these comments that seem to coincide with the judgment Christians seem to pass on others. We're imperfect. We admit it. But, Jesus redeemed us, and He's helping us to get better. This we also admit. Amen?

  • Pope Benedict: Abuse Scandal Cannot Discredit Celibacy Vow

Friend, the truth is Benedict has done more to address and prevent this in the future than many give him credit for. Now, if a man even has gay tendencies, he will not be considered for the priesthood as a way to prevent men from engaging in anal sex with prepubescent boys, the reason for the current scandal.

  • Christian Jailed in Ethiopia Accused of Desecrating Quran

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil." Let us pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters who continue to share the truth with those who need to hear it. Give me a Messiah over a Mohammed any day.

  • Saudi Authorities Charge 13 Expatriates with Proselytizing

It's a shame that you can be killed in Islam for sharing or following the Gospel. Killed. By the religion of peace, who is in an uproar about someone burning a Quran. I now understand the Pastor's motivation.

  • Calif. Pastor Preaches 'Why Jesus Hates Religion'

Since the word religion comes from the Latin word for relationship, one can't slam one without slamming the other. Hypocrisy? Yes, we all work against it, including Jesus, but not religion.

  • Muslim Extremists Murder Christian Lawyer, Family in Pakistan

It's high time we admitted that this behavior IS mainstream Islam.
