Jesus' enlightenment is that when you come to Him, you put on a new man. That equals change. He's there to help you through it. Cultures are continually changing -- God does not change His mind though.

Actually, Jesus told Nicodemas that you must be born again to see the kingdom of God. He also said "I am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the Father except by me". That is being reborn.
