Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

As someone working in the Muslim world I can only regret to see the blindness and even ignorance of leaders like Mohler, Bauer, and specially Sookhdeo who has experience working with muslims.
Christians commited many sins during the Crusades. Period. Do we have to play the game saying that we will accept our sins if the other does the same? Is that a Christian way of dealing with sin?
Anyone working with Muslims knows that confrontation is not the way to testify.
Many of the signatures in the letters are people that belong to organizations working in the Muslim world, not talking from offices, people representing thousand of workers that deal everyday with muslims. Many of them risking their lives, and some people talk about "compromise".
That kind of thinking this "critics" is exactly what gives radical islam an excuse to talk about Christian boasting about its superiority. See Jesus in his trial in front of the Romans. Few words. In the Cross, asking for the Father to forgive others, not fighting for his rights. That's the way, love, humility. Not saying that I will recognice my sins if you recognice yours. You do what you have to do...leave God the rest.

As a teacher I have to say that here we have a clear abuse of a position. Obviously this teacher did not present a case objectively. No wonder, atheist and secularist uselly show the same, or more intolerant behavior they so strong condem in religious people.
He may be a good teacher "technically", but ethically he is abusing his class.
Good for the young guy, he is showing something that will help him in his life.
Let's see what the court will say.

That's a real nonsense. If a muslim gives me a card with a quote from the Qoran wishing me the best in Ramadam, Sure I'll receive and be grateful for his wishes. The same with my jewish friends in Hanukah. What's the big deal! It's Christmass, were are celebrating Jesus's Birthday!
Really these secularist journalists are showing the same stupidity and intolerance of Fundamentalists!

In most of the third world countries, policemen are people of poor educations, that even paid to be accepted as a policeman, and don't have any work ethic. So if they are muslims, or hindus, or from certain ethnic groups, they will easily move to cover and even help mobs and extremist. So tha'ts a reallity that our brothers and sisters in Christ from the persecuted church, live dialy.

Draven.
You are so mistaken. Seems history is not your strengh. Let's look at human rights violations of some ATHEIST systems like China, the former Soviet Union, Vietnam, or Cambodia. Let's look in history of secular goverments violations like Italy, Japan or Germany just 50 yeats ago. No bro, the reality is that waht causes one person to impose his rules over others even if they have to kill them is Pride, Egoism, Hate, in other words, Sin. It's man's deceitful heart.
So it is worthless to change the outer structures, if the heart remains unchange. Jesus (not religion) changes the heart!
After more than 1o years working between Muslims in Central Asia, Ive witnessed several friends telling stories of Jesus appearing them in dreams and guiding them to the Truth. We know the truth is not a religion, or a doctrine. The truth is a Person. But as the article says, there's nothing as powerful as the testimony. When they see the difference, they ask, and wonder why we have this special relation with God, that reflects in our family. You can not forfeit this relation. You have life, or you are a talking dead (nothing personal to someone you know). So, praise God for our new brothers and sisters in the Muslim world, beautiful people, great cultures, coming to know He who loves them.
So love is stronger than dogma? Then why is is that muslims don't agree that you raised children of a mix family christian?, or didn't allowed this young girl to go back to Christianity
Citizen, don't be naive!
It;s hard to believe that anyone decides to marry someone just visiting a Muslim country, without talking to muslim women on that country.
I agree you should get some kind of teaching about the implications of marrying a muslim. Besides being against The Word, it has other practical implications
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
